I'm not sure what issue that was that you are talking about the resonator. I have had no issues with that what so ever.

Dan, the problem has been discussed earlier in this thread and there was
even a picture showing the interference:

Because the resonator was welded in where it was, a notch had to be cut
out of this brace in order to clear the resonator.

If you are unaware of it, then they must have sorted it out.

The exhaust with the resonator mounted to far forward isn't the MEgan exhaust. It's the one R-speed had sold one of and now some other distributor is selling the rest of them.

I don' there have been any fitment issues with he Megan

Dan and Mike,

That is exactly the information I was looking for. The research I
went through did not confirm these details for me.

Has anyone that put on the Megan exhaust been unhappy with it?

I like the look and design of it and would be happy to order one from Dan if
there are no negative reports. I just don't think you can beat the
bang-for-your-buck of this exhaust.

I didn't thnk that was a megan exhaust, I was going to get a picture of it to show. I'll still get one later. I will be under the car today anyway.

I have had it one for a while, and have been very happy with it, and I have not had 1 complaint from a customer as of yet. The only thing that I can say is that you need to provide 1 nut and bolt that is not included in the first set of exhausts that Megan got, (1" long 1/2" thread) Other then that people have been VERY happy. That and the sound is great with no resonation even after 5k miles.

I bought the Megan Racing exhaust from Pilo and installed it last weekend. The installation was a breeze except for removing the factory brackets from the rubber hangers. Thanks to Dan for answering my questions. The exhaust still does not ship with the bolt to join the tips but a quick trip to the hardware store for a stainless steel bolt was easy enough. Also, the mounting rods on the resonator pipe section are a little too long and rattle against the heat shielding in the tunnel. I still have to remove that pipe and shorten them. No big deal.

Here's a picture of the exhaust ready to be installed in my car.

It sounds very nice.

They look pretty good.
What's funny about the first one is that the auction says it's for an R53, but if you look at the Mini in the photo, it's clearly an R56. lol I laughed. :P

Hey guys I just got my obx headers, magnaflow high flow kat 94136, and ebay exhaust and I really don't recommend it. IT is VERY VERY loud, there is alittle drone and the exhaust crackle when released from idle. The headers where hard to put had to get ride of the heatshield. The kat had to be wielded on. And the exhaust was such a tight tight fit that I hav to get exhaust hinges curved and its such a pain. From my experience I would recommend to SPEND THE MONEY ON BETTER PARTS!!

I was looking at that one ,but since you said it was very very loud, I'd probably go with Tsudo. It's basically the same price at $260 and the sound clips I found were nice IMO.

I bet the tsudo is louder. The mufflers are just big glass packs opposed to the ebay one having a bigger body of insulation inside. maybe??
