The SPS switch does not need to stay in the OBDII Port. It is only connected for 2 seconds to switch the map. You can set it to stock mode thoe on the switch.
Okay I don't need it. I will just remove the OBDII if I don't want the stage 2 tune on, but I will however never uninstall it;-).

Like johntotah94 said, the SPS does not have to stay in the OBDII port. It is only needed when changing maps. I had it for my GTI and it was really practical. Basically plug in, load map, unplug and drive off with a huge grin on your face.

Did you by any chance have a SGII plugged in after uploading the tune? Idk why I thought it needed to stay plugged in but interesting. Should be a fun experience! Now to just put my deposit down!

I didn't have a scan gauge but I don't see a problem plugging it in after changing maps.
OK. A manic engineer will be arriving May 6th. The Tune dates have been confirmed for May 7th, 8th and 9th. The location isn't set in stone but looks to be the northern NJ area so far. They have a few places in mind and are determining the best fit for Manic.
When the resorvation list is released, I am looking for first thing on the 7th...hopefully. I will be receiving my new 45mm K03 turbo next week along with a port matched Mani and will be installing that along with a down pipe next Friday. So, stage 3 for me!
I'm hoping I can be fit in there either on the 7th or 8th. The 9th will be no good for me and if they cannot fit me in for the first two days I will unfortunately not be able to get it tuned! =/ please! Let's hope for the best for me haha

I hope so too! They need to come up with a sign up list soon. People need to make arrangements with work for taking the day or a portion of it.
I just spoke with Walter at Eurocode. They will be handling the reservations for the Northeast Manic Tune between May 7th, 8th and 9th. You can email a reservation request at info@ecodetuning.com and put "Manic Tune - Northeast - Reservation" in the subject line. They will be firming up the location shortly.
I have already requested a reservation for first thing on the May 7th.
Ok, we're a week out and I'm no further along in knowing where I stand with this. Anyone have luck solidifying a place and date/time?
Yes, a bit frustrating... What Walter said was once Manic arrives stateside, they will firm up the arrangements. So, it looks like that will happen tomorrow.....hopefully
I emailed Eurocode earlier this week but hadn't received a reply, so I called today and spoke to Chris in Sales. They had my email flagged for reply and stated that once details are firmed up, they will be replying to all requests for tuning appointments. Hope to hear soon!
Apparently, it's now may 14th, 15th, and 16th.... That's according the Walter. I am calling redline first thing Monday to confirm and will let you know. Real bummer it's pushed another week. O well... What's another week?
