It is official that you can tune through OBD. I seen it. Most of the tuning is done on the street. He dyno tuned in Europe and just is fine tuning here in the US. He says you don't drive to the store on the dyno, you don't drive to work on the dyno. So the best way to tune is on the street. Do a run. Adjust. Do another run. Adjust. Lots of dynos are not super accurate. What is super accurate is what the car's computer reads and what it tells us. And you can adjust from there.

Agreed. I've always tuned on the street but would also do a before and after on the dyno for comparison sake. Either way, glad things are getting done. Can't wait to hear how it feels.
Pretty damn busy here. Gonna be a while. Trying to find a dyno but everyone is booked.
didn't notice you sneaking in a shot of my car there! good meeting you and your buddies at eurocode. hope the tune kicks *** and makes me regret thinking about getting rid of the mini.

Any of you guys that did now the tune with Manic have N18?
I want to see numbers, boost isn't always important when tuning these cars. Jan could get big numbers but also keep boost around 16-18lbs on a MCS(07-10). I want to see results.

Who is Jan?
Yes, boost is not all...
And numbers are not all also, as you don't drug race Mini , the most imported is the power and torque above the curve!

Now you got the SPS to change your maps correct? Using E85 and race fuel and such? But I'm sure you can dyno when it's going to be like 75 degrees later in the fall. What were some of the results on the countryman, just curious?
Yeah. SPS.
91 mild. 91 aggressive. And race fuel or meth map. They're flashing a countryman now. Not sure if they will dyno it. But it is really hot outside. Excited to see how my car feels in cold weather.
