I am slightly alarmed after reading the "exhaust reference thread." I read there and on Mini2 that people were having fitment problems - something along the lines of MINI changing the hangers on 2004's. I wanted to know if this is something i can correct and install myself or will i need to take it to an exhaust shop?

There is no aftermarket exhaust in the world yet that will fit a Mini Cooper S with a 2/2004 or later production date. Milltek is doing the system revision to fit your car next week.
