You won't regret it. I've got it on my S now, and absolutely love it. It grabs a lot of attention, but also isn't much different than stock (at idle). :thumbsup: Do it :grin:

Is the Invidia louder than Milltek? Is there droning at all?

I haven't heard the milltek, so I can't comment. However, there is a slight drone for me on the highway, but I also have a RSD kit... If you cruise with the windows down, it is not a problem at all. Windows up....is another story, but nothing horrible.

Those are some great sound clips of the Invidia. I put mine on in May and have been loving it ever since. Plus my car is Hyper Blue so it matches my paint perfectly. Very good job on recording it. :thumbsup:

Excellent work, you should add R56 to the stack. Alta and Milltek both sound nice. Milltek has supreme hp gains however

I scrolled back to around posting #295 - #300 and found some discussion of the Coast to Coast titanium cat back system. I saw the photos and listened to the sound clip. Has anyone out there purchased one of these systems and have any personal observations or comments on quality, hp, torque, ease of installation / fitment, etc. I would like to hear what the talk on the street is. At 15 pounds, that's one light system. KFD

Where did you guys purchase the Invidia Exhaust for the MCS from? And...did any get their exhaust installed in Southern California...??? :-)

I got mine from Helix in PA for a good price and installed it myself.

I got mine from Racing By Design as part of a group buy and installed it myself. Love it!

I have no experience with installation of automotive parts. Is it rather difficult? If not...is there a tutorial anywhere to install an exhaust system? If it is too difficult for a novice to install...do you have any recommendations of where to get the installation in Southern California?

Anyone has any experience with this catback system for the Cooper S??There a couple of them on ebay for a very low price, i wonder if the quality is comparable to the OBX header?

I just got a Volt exhaust (Magnaflow knock off) installed this weekend on my 06 MCS. Got it from Performance Peddler for about $250 including shipping. A few quality issues (ie uneven exhaust tips, but fixed by my muffler shop). LOUD exhaust, compared to other exhaust that I have heard. It's aggressive but not annoying. I don't think this exhaust is for everone but given the low cost it is a good option for some.

Mine sounds just like that, but at idle, it does nothing for the exhaust. The sound gets soo much better once you start getting above 3000 RPM :thumbsup:

the skunk2 is the same thing as an invidia so it'll fit an 05 on if u get the right one, and the only difference is the tips are all silver
