At least from the pictures I have seen, the machined whalen **** is very similar, though not exactly the same, as the B&M ****. It seems loke a lot of people think it is worth buying the $130-$150 Whalen **** on top of the B&M short shifter with which you get a similar **** for free. Why is that? Is there something I am missing?

Just my opinion, the B&M **** sucks... no disrespect NoBull. Nothing (except for maybe the UUC) compares with the Whalen, and even that's a stretch... customized is the only way to go. Well worth the loot.

That being said, anybody who actually wants the B&M ****, shoot me a PM, you can have it.

Dan, so will the price come down a bit then? Also, you might be the right guy to ask... Are you aware of anyone "compounding" the B&M unit by putting something like the Rogue/Madness one on its end? It might be too much of a reduction, but I'm curiuos... Thanks for the fyi!

I like strip clubs too, but the Whalen's definitely worth it.

The Whalen is great. But it gets cold and frosty at -25 degrees F.

With all the money y'all are going to save on a knobless short shifter (don't forget the shipping savings as the **** doubles the weight of the package) you can buy my B&M ****.

Offers?

I'm making my own out of a stainless steel hitch ball (1 and 3/8 inch). Some machining and I should have a custom **** that will weight similar to a Whalen.

I'll keep you guys posted when it is complete.

Woops.. for got to check back in on this post.

I am not aware of a price change, but that does not mean that where will not be one. the Know they use is ver light in comparison to the whalen.. I use the whalen on mine, because the weight aids shifting.

Regarding the compounding of the SS Kits. I have not heard of it, but mabye I'll see what happens..

and they are not sure when they are going to have an 04 model since alot of money was spent on designing and tooling up for the 02-03 model, it is hard to justify running 2 likes of the same car.... and of a car that there is not that many on the road... people are just going to have to wait, or get the link lengthener.

The prices are not changing on the B&M...they just won't include a shift ****...the PROMINI version will still have the shift **** and the price isn't changing. The 04 model is approx 2-3 months out.
