Hi all so i am also looking for a tuner in Colorado that can tune my 03 cooper S. I already have a tune from Adrian Natase on the car but I would like a local guy. I have already talked to a couple of shops and they say they cant tune the R53 platform. All I am looking for is to update the tune for a manifold and some injectors in the future as well as any way to diagnose weird R53 issues I always seem to have. I am aware thats not really what a tuner does but a R53 expert would help for sure. Thanks!

 

Um...why not give Adrian another shot at it ?

Tell him what you've done to the engine, and any other drivability problems that you might have. Let him have a shot at working any problems out.

ESPICIALLY if you don't find any local guys that HAVE...done this work in the past. Tuning this computer (NOT tuning the car !) isn't for the timid, or inexperienced.

So it's not because Adrian did a bad job he actually did a terrific job and the car runs great just was looking to get it dyno tuned.

 

good luck finding a shop that can data log a r53 good enough to push the limits with a dyno tune. Most can do more than AFR and you can do that on your own with adrian
