Installed JCW exhaust, Battery box heatshield wont fit.

I installed a JCW exhaust we had sitting in the parts department for a while. Install went pretty smooth one I figured out the steps to get the rear hangers done.
My issue is that the heatshield/aero cover that attaches to the bottom of the battery box not longer fits correctly. It touches the exhaust piping leaving the mufflers. Do the JCW tuning kits include spacers to fix this or an entirely different heat shield?
Any ideas?

The heatshield is very thin and can be easily bent for clearance. Just flex the heatshield so that you have at least 1/2" of clearance around the pipes so you don't have any rattles coming from the rear. Had to do the same thing on mine to clear my JCW rear section.

Ask the techs at your dealer you work at and they'll tell you they just bend them a little, the JCW kits never came with a new heatshield.

Sounds good. Ill tweak the cover tonight. Its weird that the exhaust is quieter than my oneball. Maybe it will break in and get a little more volume.

The official installation instructions even say to do this. Had to do it on mine. Took less than a minute to get it adjusted.
