i cant recommend it highly enough

Told ya!

Just got my dyno done... man the remote tune was spot on regarding afr's! Jan was able to get another 5lbs ft out if it and make the throttle more linear. A good amount of runs were done but it was almost straight on from the remote tune.

Dynojet Research dyno(humbled me )

Spinning those hugh rollers netted out a whoping 203whp and 227ftlbs!! These numbers are low per the dyno, those who know, know where to make the comparison.

Similar modded and some modded w dp's netted around 180-190whp and 210 trq on this dyno so were above the curve by a lot!

Jan,

Finally good to meet you in person and had a good time talking the techno jargain with ya Time to shape this place up and get things moving!

Videos to come. youtube search "machv" for similar dynos... for exp. my mini netted the amount of wtq from a 2004 m3 stock... we're movin!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KL8gON5pmXw for reference on the same dyno 2006 s2k.

http://www.youtube.com/user/MachVDan#p/u/74/LyzKSbjgVDs similar modded +dp mcs

Contact Jan from RMW. With the access port you can data log and he should be able to give you a remote tune. The Alta "stage" packages just dont compare in my opinion and i have experienced both. Its the best money you will spend power wise

Does it make a difference whether I buy the AccessPort from Alta or Jan? Would it be best to buy it from Alta then have Jan tune it? That way I can get service from both sides if anything happens even if Jan is too busy, am I correct? Please advise. Thanks!

afr's were almost dead on first run... and he tried a lot . a total of 9 pulls. Good stuff. now just gotta get a aquamist kit and a dp Good stuff when you reference the other numbers from that specific dyno because that is all that is relative to my numbers.

Do you reckon that my datalogging tool is as accurate as a tailpipe sniffer (which is what I'm assuming you used on the dyno)?

Btw as soon as I sort out the tune, my next mods will be water/meth and dp too

It's probably more accurate than a sniffer.

It reads it directly from the wideband...

+1 we didnt use a sniffer as the sensors on the r56 are quite capable of precise readings. No sniffer was used.

sweet. I've just got to sort out whatever the problem is with the engine, and I'll get some serious datalogging done.

are you using a mac or such ? someone was posting the same problem on the PS Mini forum. Maybe try a different browser, I know Apple's safari is too cool for a lot of websites
Just checked, Opera/Opera Mini work ok.
