If all else fails... maybe you should try changing the blinker fluid. I heard it sometimes cross interacts with the timing sensor in the car, which makes it run funny. You can buy some here.

I cleaned the MAF sensor, with no change. I might try swap it out with my brother's MAF sensor, see if that makes a difference.

I have an Auterra DashDyno SPD, didn't get any codes. Do you reckon I should swap out the O2 sensor? (That's the one that's right in front of you when you open the bonnet yeah?)
Also clean the two sensors on the intake track downstream of the intercooler. One is easily visible, the other is just before the throttle body.

This maybe redundant, but whats actually wrong? Its retarding timing? Do you still have boost or power in general? Does it idle fine? Maybe I missed the original post...
All you have to do is ask

Seriously though guys, thanks so much for helping me.

Boston, I've never heard of this reset method. So I disconnect the battery and just step on the brake pedal once?

I suggested this as the first thing you do in a PM or email a long time ago. Disconnect the battery and press the brake pedal a few times to get the remaining electrons out of the brake circuit. The wait about 2-3 minutes and then reconnect it. If you do this right you will clear all codes for the system check before start up. I do this at least once a month to keep things current .

Did this last night, no change.

Also already cleaned the two sensors downstream of the turbo.

I've run out of ideas....

Have you tried a new DV (stock one) not the upgraded way one since it doesn't work on the JCW. Your stock one maybe busted.

We have the AP in stock and also can do custom Dimsport tuning
Both should be on the website, they will work on your Clubby too

Better yet, you can go to the NASA registration tent, sign your world away, and get a rider band. This will let you ride with any instructor in the god awful 90 car field we have for our sessions.....(I hate combined sessions...grrrrrr). Let me know what day you plan on being there.....at the very least, come say "Hi"..maybe have a beer at the end of the day...I'll be at the RV with all the RX8's....

Speaking of JCW owners... are there any with more than 20K miles with a tune still using the OEM clutch? I had and RMW tune on my stock MCS and the clutch would slip real easy in 4th, 5th and 6th (36K miles)

I was the 2nd R56 Jan ever tuned....so long ago I don't even remember what my mileage was at the time. I think it was just before 30k...im at 51k now, and about 10k miles ago, I swapped on my JCW turbo. I've had the same clutch (stock) the whole time, and no issues. I drive it hard too. My flywheel is starting to chatter/rattle at idle, in neutral though...not sure why, but the clutch holds fine (no slipping like you describe).

My clutch was replaced just after my car was first tuned around 30k mi, but it was from a flywheel issue.

Thanks for the info.

I had to get Jan to take the tune off so I can go see the dealer about coverage on the clutch. Not that I would punish my clutch with the tune, I just had to really ease the gas on freeway to overtake (where is the fun in that!). I hope I can get my clutch sorted soon as I MISS MY RMW TUNE!!!! It was awesome and I bet there is more fun to be had with no slipping clutch!!!! Thanks Jan.

I put over 30k miles on a tuned S and over 30k so far on my tuned JCW. No clutches issues at all on either.
