Had a discussion w/ my service manager about warranty considerations yesterday. Seems that any aftermarket stiffening of a MINI puts any free rattle fixes in doubt. Also, MINI's w/ sports suspension (an option on the MC, standard on the S) will only be getting rattles fixed free up to 12k. She said that those w/ standard suspensions will be treated on a case by case basis after that and will quite probably get rattles fixed free for longer. Just a heads-up for all thinking about coil-overs, sway bars and the like.

Be sure to speak to your particular dealer, as it seems they each have their own take on the warranty and its provisions.
