2005 r50 clutch replacement

Im getting ready to change my clutch on my 2005 r50 non s 5 speed manual transmission. Im thinking of upgrading from the stock clutch and flywheel. looking at either a spec clutch and aluminum flywheel or a clutchmasters clutch and aluminum flywheel. Has anyone used either of these and if so which would be the best for me.

I never had an aftermarket clutch on my midlands before I replaced it, but I'm getting some nice performance and feel out of ACT clutch/pressure plate/flywheel set (EDIT) on my getrag.

From what I've seen so far, it sounds like the biggest issue with performance clutches is longevity. Personally, I would opt for OEM or Valeo.

You should have the Getrag transmission in your 05 and I haven't seen any performance clutches of flywheels for that transmission.

I have thought about getting my flywheel lightened at a machine shop when it comes time to put in a new clutch.
