I abso-FREAKN'-lutely love my new DoS intake!!!

I wish I'd listened to all of you guys in the first place and bought this one the first time around.

It looks great, fits great, and sounds even better! I can't believe how good it sounds. I gave a friend a ride tonight and he couldn't believe that I didn't have a BOV. My Fiancé is going to absolutely HATE it!

I'm not really that into grill badges, but I love this logo. Couldn't resist...

Thanks Clint.

I know, I was thinking about the upcoming product as I was mounting it there! I'm looking forward to filling the void...

I have looked everywhere to relocate the catchcan, may have to mount it on the otherside of the bulkhead .

Yeah, that's why I just put it there for now. Going to have to get creative...

09MellowJCW 03-11-2010 08:24 PM

The problem would be emptying it. If I do put it on the other side, I'll run some sort of drain line down to the bottom of the car with a valve at the bottom for draining I think.

I remove the cowl at least once a month:wink:

LOL. I'm going to avoid removing the cowl again for as long as I can! Actually it really wasn't that bad.

My neighbor, who has a "Justa", hates me just a little bit more every time he sees me working on the JCW. He came home today and saw it all torn apart with the two firewalls (old and new) sitting next to each other, and just shook his head on his way by

JamesHunt 03-11-2010 08:35 PM

My neighbors, the golfers ,the wildlife and the gate guards hate me because the exhaust on the JCW has no cat, no resonater and no muffler:eek2:

com3tojo3 03-11-2010 09:20 PM

Why are you going to have to relocate the catch can?

09MellowJCW 03-11-2010 09:27 PM

Clint has a surprise in the works that is going to mount in that space on the firewall. I don't know if he's ready to let the cat out of the bag yet. He's too nice a guy for me to do it for him. I'm sure he'll make an announcement when it's ready...

com3tojo3 03-11-2010 09:28 PM

W2A Intercooler?

Oxybluecoop 03-11-2010 09:33 PM

Whatever it is there's plenty of room for it since I managed to squeeze a cone filter in there.

fignewton 03-12-2010 09:01 AM

Other than noise and opening up the firewall, what else do you like about it?
fig

Most importantly, it REALLY is a CAI. No air from the hot engine compartment what so ever. Not to mention the fact that, IMO, It looks great as well.
