I just sent a PM. I would like to talk with you really quick first. I am ready to do this. I want to go to Philly and get an IC installed and get the tune and flash tool. Are there any spots left? On any day?

 

Jan, I hate to ask...."last of the tools being shipped Monday"....from overseas or from you to us?

Ok, I just got off the phone with Helix. I'm coming down on Wed at 2:00 for the tune. Don't forget to let me know tonight if I need to pre-pay for the flash tool!

I got my flash tool at today's tune with Jan at Helix! It works great!!!

 

Now that many of you have the RMW tune on your car can you post up your before and after dyno results and your impressions of the tune and the experience.

 

Some will be in wed and rest Friday of this week

Jan - Can you review the process that will happen once we get the flash units. ie. when do we send the info back and forth, etc. Thanks

 

Your tool will ship on Thursday when I get back

the tools are coded when you get them. You will download your ecu file and load it onto the software that comes in the flash tool kit. You will then email it to me. I will modify it and send it back to you to put back on the tool. Now you can load it on your car. You can switch between the maps now

 

Did anyone get an RMW sticker with their tool?

 

Mmm I hope mine shows up soon, I havent gotten tracking info on it yet so I am crossing fingers!

 

I didn't get to send but a few tracking numbers as I had to jump on the plane to Philly. My guess is you will have it by the time I get back if your were 1 of the 50 or so that I got shipped

I thought Jan already mentioned that he shipped in the order he received payment.

 

i dont think that was the case... i know i was pretty much the first to actually pay because i was with jan that morning he posted they came in and the est. cost and saw parts, ect...and paid right there.. i actually paid a few dollars more then the posted price because it wasnt offically posted price yet... (we talked about getting those few bucks back so its all good, he's a good guy) and i havent seen any tracking or emails yet, but i'm #75 on the list... so i'll probably be in the next 50 batch.. its all good people... be patient... can you imagine his email inbox from everyone once everyone gets the tool! I can see in now... TUNE< TUNE< TUNE<100times>

I want to wait it out a little bit, let all the early birds get their go. Once the process is streamlined it will make it a little easier for everyone involved.
