No real magical answer. I always felt the 1.8L would be the perfect fit for the Rotrex. I love the idea of having something different as well if you haven't noticed . We are doing some very cool stuff with this motor and after a little meeting tonight there could be some even more ultra trick parts going in .
Here are some of the goodies going in.
RMW billet stroker crank
Manley rods
CP pistons
RMW's new race cam
Reworked (for the 1.8) RMW Big valve head with Swain Tec coated chambers, valves and exhaust ports
RMW baffled oil pan
Fluid dampened crank pully
ARP hardware
And like I siad after tonight who knows what else .
I have a feeling that there is going to be some very trick parts coming soon
VERY VERY TRICK

I have been working on this project for some time now. Having worked hard with another great US company we came up with this beauty.
Made from billet 4340 and heat treated to perfection. These can be made from stock stroke all the way out to 2.0L designs
Kits will be sold complete with rods/pistons/bearings/sleeves and gaskets
Strange post, For Sale but with no pricing... what's the MSRP? or the name of this other "great US company" so we can check up on some reference pricing on their non-MINI products?

I'm curious LimonR56?
Do you have an R56 or 53? This crank and kit are only for the 53.
