audrey's going into surgery. your tips and suggestions?

on my next day off i'm going to perform some surgery on my 03 mcs:

jcw 380cc injectors
dt bypass valve
alta air diverter

is there anything i should do while i'm in there? i am going to clean out the intercooler core while it's out but what else should i look for? can anyone tell me how to clean the injectors while they're still out? i got them used.

lastly, any tips on diy-ing these mods? i assume it'll take me twice as long as it should because i'm not very mechanically inclined, although i try to be. thanks!

03... How many miles? It might be worth pulling the supercharger off and doing an oil change and top off on it (depending on mileage).

on the sc itself? i've got about 84k miles on it.

If you are willing to take the time I would definitely pull the supercharger, that mileage is starting to get into the range where they are known to fail. If you dont have a Bentley manual I suggest picking one up, it cover how to do it. That plus some of the threads floating around NAM and it should be doable. Maybe see if you can find somebody else who knows MINI's, or is a tleast comfortable working on cars.
