difference in b&m shifters after 2003?

i just bought a b&m shifter for a MCS for 2002-2003.
i own a 2004. duh.

what's different on the car/shifter?

The shift cables are a different size and won't fit the earlier shifter. If you end up getting another I'd suggest the Craven its alot easier to adjust.

when was your car built? Mine is an 04 built in 03 and it has the old stylle shifter in it.

Pop your shift boot off and check the color of the shifter housing. If it is mostly white its the early model. Gray if its the newer.
