This VW R32.. I llooooooove their exhaust notes. The burble is so nice IMO.
When they show you the comparo with the aftermarket exhaust, at 48sec, the burble is sex. Wish I could tune the R56 exhaust to sound like this... ahh
any ideas? lol yeah, we have half the engine, 3.2 vs 1.6L =p probably not happening

That's basically the main thing I like about R32s, they have an awesome exhaust note stock...sounds very good, I see some new R32s pretty often where I live so I can listen to em, and the new one sounds even better.

The VR has always had a sweet and very distinct engine and exhaust note. Even coming out one side like on the mkIII and mkIV GTI vr6 and in the old corrados... just to die for, especially when you get a chance to drive a modded one and pin it through a tunnel.

Even the intake sounds on a VR are just awesome! Having owned several in the past, the first thing I always did was open the intake up, and wire the baffle on the exhaust to enjoy ALL of the symphony. Maybe someone can add a few cylinders to the next MINI so we can get something similar!

ya, but the cool thing is, we are just as quick, seriously, i forgot where, but some magazine compared both and lap times and 1/4 miles times were too close to declare a victor. The r32 is like a fat kid that happens to be housing a lot of muscle underneath.

vr's and there amazing sound, trying to get that sound out of a cooper will almost be impossible. Techtoniks makes great VW parts and all their exhausts are great. The mini is not going to sound like the r32 mainly because of the turbo not the lack of literage

Agreed, turbo+cold temps= crazy fast

My Saab sees big gains in the winter, especially with the k&n intake, too bad most of the winter the roads are slippery.
