I still find it hard to believe that people don't believe what you have accomplished with our motors. Best part is that there is a lot more to come down the road.

Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ah I see so you leave us in the dark yet again Jan....well maybe not the dark (you did give us some clues) but no real hard facts! I must say though you have really become a pro at leaving people hanging lately! So here we all sit again....waiting to see what you come up with next <----(I hate this thing because of how it's been used lately by certain members following snooty remarks but I think it fits this situation)

No I believe it...trust me I've read enough threads with the letters RMW in them to believe what I see. I'm more on the unbelievable at BMW/Chrysler that they engineered this motor to withstand these extremes. Extremes meaning so far from factory limits. And yes you are right the best is yet to come

EDIT: Jan correct me if I'm out of line by making this statement but..although it is amazing what Jan has accomplished with our motors (no one else has come close!! ) its more amazing at what this engine has allowed Jan to do by simply bolting new parts onto it and not really changing anything else. 168hp @ crank stock to 295 @ wheels after Jan....WOW and everything is simply bolt ons! Very impressive to say the least

Steve

thanks everyone for the kind words

as I said before we won't sit back and rest on our past achievements

RMW is going to make some incredible stuff. I can tell you 100% that it is already in the works on the next major s/c hp increase. People will be freaked out what a s/c car can achieve.

Tru dat. I'm one-and-a-half times as talented as Michael Schumacher.... but weigh twice as much. So I fail on the track.

Clearly Jan is the most dedicated to the MINI and NAM however DMH was running a 248HP mini before RMW was born. Jan is going to a new solo level w/ the Rotex.

Jan's work stands on its own merits there is no need for anyone to push others down so that Jan stands tall.

Perhaps a better name for RMW would have been "Highlander Mini Works" - "there can be only one !"

I disagree. There is plenty of need for honesty here, even if honesty "pushes others down." If we don't reveal the vendors that have taken advantage of us, we are guilty by collusion when others buy parts from them and get ripped off.

+2 on that one.....what can you say?? He's right But I do agree with BahamaBart in that Jans work does stand on its own. Unfortunately not everyone is seeing that work and are still falling for phony advertisement strategies(a.k.a. unproven hp gains). So as I agree that Jan's work speaks for itself I also agree that honesty might just save one of our fellow Mini members from going down the same road so many others (not me.....fortunately I read before I buy something) have gone down before and regretted doing later on.
