engine mount v's clutch ?
 
my engine mount died some time ago [05 facelift]
now having some clutch issues :sad: [slipping]

are these things at all realated, cause then effect :confused:

or am i just an unlucky dude

posted this here as the 240 + bhp i have had for last 2 years may also be a factor? hence my other post,

was talking to a Mini tech the other day and he said they had a bunch of bad clutch/flywheels go through. Dealers seem to be replacing them. My engine mount only lasted 8months:cry: . Put in a new one and put the rubber bushing on the bottom mount and so far so good

2 years with a bit more power will definitely take a toll on both your clutch and the engine mounts. I doubt the two problems are related, but they would be the first 2 things to go with extra power.
