Drivetrain I changed my plugs to the NGK BKR7EIX-11 and now the cars sounds different???

I changed my plugs to the NGK BKR7EIX-11 and now the cars sounds different???
Well I had ordered the NGK Iridiums BKR7EIX before I found out the BKR7EQUP were available so I figure I'll give them a shot. Install went fine (except for my plug socket pulling off my extension), car runs great but when you are first accelerating of idle you can hear a slight ticking noise as if the combustion is just a little sharper.
Any ideas?
