Like I said on NEMINI, did you get an explanation for that rather large dip at 3500RPM? I feel like I have never seen that before.

every mini i've seen dyno'd has that... Most dyno graphs start at 3500 however which is why you don't typically see it.

What dose he charge for the tune and will he be in the area again or down state NY area?

since Frank's car was an automatic, the best way they could get it to run consistent pulls was to start the test higher than the manual transmission cars:thumbsup:

Dynapaks pull the car to the "starting" rpm that you set on the computer
the car trys to ramp up but the dyno drags it down to that rpm then let's it go:nod:

That's the dyno being ramped up. the dip represents the start of recording, followed by the load being placed on the engine. It's just how a dynopak works .

44 hp. Everyone thinks they have a magic mini, but a few actually DO! Just a pulley with everything just stock, not even an exhaust. Umbelievable. Jan, what a good day! Kyle, you have some great people working for you. Everyone did what needed to be done to get the job DONE!

greenmonster Apr 14, 2008 07:06 AM

Thanks again to Jan, Bishops and the guys for the entertainment. Sorry, I didn't stay longer but I was functioning on 3 hours sleep and had a long ride ahead of me. The HP number is what excited me in CT but the torque is what blew my mind on the way home. The car pulled through the gears like there was no end. So with an incredible tune and a Red Sox win over the Yankees  I will call April 13,2008 a very good day.

Craven 15% pulley
Ultrik CAI (the matching blue filter adds 20HP)
NGK 7EIX plugs
