Here is the link to Axiom where you will find the address and a map of the area-
http://www.axiommotorsports.com/

RMW Tune: $350
Axiom Motorsports dyno time: $90 per hour or $810 per day. Starting at 10am/7:30pm on Friday,10am/7pm on Saturday
Fun: priceless!

Jan recommends the Following:

9. non slipping clutch
10. 380cc injectors if 19% or 15/3% or 15/2 or 17/2 etc
if you plan on running your car on the track it's always better to have 380cc injectors over the stockers
So, this might sound like a stupid question, but how do you tell if your clutch is slipping or not? Wouldn't it be obvious?

BTDT with a slipping clutch on my S4. The revs will climb rapidly and the car will not be accelerating to match. When it catches (if it catches) the revs will drop and the car will surge forward. The ear/butt ratio will be off if you have a slipping clutch. Best bet is to test this at or near the torque peak in the highest gear. Floor the accelerator and see what happens.

Now is the time to start the day schedule to decide whether Jan should do a two or three day session. I can go any time. Right now Im just trying to see how many cars can fit into a day and how fast Axiom is at swapping out cars on their dyno. Im almost thinking it would be faster to run on a wheel dyno and not a hub dyno, but Jan prefers a dynapak. So how many for friday and saturday and who's on first? Who can do thursday? I would say no more than 7 or 8 per day since we have 9 hour days and each car takes an hour not including setup.

I can only do the weekend, but either day is fine. Don't care about the time.

I tried to compile date prefernce from the responses to this thread, this is what I came up with. Obvisouly I'm not the "decider" but I thought we could massage this list to finalize dates and timeslots. I did not prioritize in any order. I'm wondering if at some point we should "lock out" sign ups so the people that were onboard earlier get a timeslot and we don't end up with too many people.

-CLINTTHEMINIOWNER - thurs, fri, sat
-ED955S - sat 11-2
-SHOOLER - sat
-CUSTARD - Fri
-JHIGGS26
-BILLSZCAT1 - fri, sat
-SCURVZ - sat
- Jeffc2 - sat
-SEAROCKO - thurs, fri
-SANDERSKOG
-VINHSANE - sat
-OSUBEAVER - sat
-JOE_R
-JPIT - friday early afternoon
-CRAIGSMILLER - mid friday
-SCOTTINBEND - sat early
- Rorik - any day

Thursday (2) - CLINTTHEMINIOWNER, SEAROCKO
Friday 10-7:30 (5) - CUSTARD, CRAIGSMILLER(mid friday), JPIT(early afternoon), Rorik, BILLSZCAT1
Saturday 10-7 (7) - ScottinBend (early), ED955s(11-2), SCURVZ, Jeffc2, Vinhsane, OSUBeaver, Schooler

no date listed (3) : JHIGGS26, SANDERSKOG, JOE_R

Due to work schedules, Thursday is out for me, but Friday is fine. While I get to write my own schedules, I still have to do what is right by the business.

Being in Vancouver, BC, Canada, it is a 3 hour drive and the US-Can border can be pain in the a--. Thanks for keeping my slot bet. 11-2 on Sat. I would prefer Hub Tuning as having S-heavy wheels and Run crap tire will not help my numbers at all.

Just a quick question slightly off topic. Is there a way to save the tune (similar to car tune and MTH) after it is over? I would hate to think that some firmware upgrade by MINI later would negate the whole thing. Thanks.

I can't commit for a RMW tune that weekend yet. I'll follow this thread and see how my schedule works out. And keep up the great organizing gentlemen!

BIG NEWS!!! The tuning location has been moved to Drift Office in Kent, Washington. Bill with Axiom called me late this evening and informed me that their dynapak dyno is not working properly and that a tech is scheduled to repair it which will interfere with our tuning day. Soooo, he switched us to another location with a dyno that matches the numbers of their dyno, a brand new four wheel drive Dynojet. Their website is:
www.drift-office.com/ This site will be up and running soon if it is not already.
Bob, from Drift Office said if each car takes an hour we can do ten cars per day. He would like to do all the cars on friday and saturday and would be open on sunday if there were more cars.
For all people seeking motels, they are all off of 15th St. In Auburn.
Bill with Axiom will be there and he said he is thinking about buying a Mini.
