I think at least 2 or 3 MINIs in Hawaii have mods that total more than your list shows. Neither is on MCO. One has the JCW kit and full custom audio and video with the works -just those two options total in excess of $15,000 easy but he has alot more including all of the options from the factory. He does not race, in fact he hardly drives because in the last two months the car has been mostly in the garage getting upgrades. I guess we should define what "most modded MINI" means. Total number of items or total cost in addition from the base price ($17K for the MC and $20K for the MCS)?

If you go to the german CTD site and look thorough the interior mods the list is so long it takes many pages to see what is there. Plus the prices are really high. Same with some Japanese upgrade sites. Full dash board upgrades cost about $3000+. You can change out everything.

I think that over half of us that have done mods in excess of $10,000 do not race. Custom audio is $3000 to $6000 easy and isn't useful in racing per se in fact really hot audio upgrades are very heavy and might even need to be removed from the car for racing to save weight. The radios are turned off when it is track time. Then custom wheels (mostly for show) are also very expensive $3000 to $5000 depending on budget. Aero kit fully installed is $3500 to $5000 in my town.

My question for you is give me an estimate how much you might have spent so far in dollars.I started a $10K and over club thread and have a bunch of people that have already listed their mods and how much it costs. MC owners spent up to about $3500-$4000. MCS owners up to $15,000 plus. Most do not race at all- not even close. Many mods are for show or pleasure.

Allright Randy,

I am very close to you, and once I get through my current installs underway now, we shall see. In another week or so, I will post some pics soon as the MCS is really starting to look hot, and rips too ! Will even attach the customary parts list too !

AND, never been "tracked" !

Seems I'm definitely out of the running now. Have removed the Apline stereo and navigation sytem so it could now be installed in the Minibeast Support Tow Truck. Other items will be removed as I get to them to save weight.
