MINI Cooper Tuner in Minneapolis-Saint Paul?

I'm interested in having a pulley installed, some exhaust work and possibly ECU tuning done, Does anyone know of a Mini-friendly tuner in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul, Minnesota area?

Have you tried Motorwerks? I heard they were mod friendly. I'm curious also. I'd like to do a pulley next summer.

I didn't think Motorwerks Mini would be mod friendly, but I'll give them a call. I'm working with them currently to get some JCW stuff. I've got nothing against the dealership, but if there is a private tuner local with experience, I'd rather give them a try... just afraid of a large dealer labor bill.

By the way, thanks chpsk8 for connecting me with the JCW exhaust a few weeks ago. I purchased it recently, waiting for tips. But now I'm thinking about just doing a one ball and putting my mod money elsewhere. So I'll be putting the JCW exhaust up for sale.

bhardy. Glad I could assist with the JCW. I was close to buying, but I've spent too much already this year.
Next year I want to do a pulley for sure, just not sure that I want to tackle it myself.
Minidemon, any thoughts on the price of a pulley installed from orrautosport?

chdsk8, as for doing a the pulley your self. I am sure that one of the SotaMINIs members would give you a hand.

Thanks Qtip. I've been over to the SotaMini site a couple times, but not much action over there. I should go hang out a little more and see if anyone is interested. I'm good for pizza and beer at the least!
I'm fairly mechanically inclined, I am just missing a couple things... a puller and not really liking the jacking up the motor thing.

We could definitely have a SotaMINI pulley party. I've done four pulleys with the help of another member, who's done five. The easiest would be to get a couple lined up and go for it. The only tools we don't have is the pulley puller.

Definitely post it on the SotaMINI site, as well.

Springs?

Anyone have an idea of where to get springs installed for a reasonable price?

Check with Orr Autosports

They have done alot of work on my Mini and seem to be very reasonable. I had the shop do alot of things at once, so I could not give you what I spent for just the springs. Talk with Chris at the shop.
