My apologies if this has been posted before.

I just picked up the Aout issue of "BIMMER" magazine. In it there's a story on MAXI-TUNER's Cooper S. The kit is distributed by FRED OPERT RACING located in RAMSEY NEW JERSEY. The package consist of a modified Cooper S supercharger, new ECU, as well as a new exhaust system. They're claiming 215hp. What's interesting is that the article quotes the kits cost at $2,900 and an installation cost of an additional $1,000.

Cheaper than JCW. However there's no mention of a warranty.

The Cooper's performance numbers are simliar to JCW. 0-60 in 6.7, having a top speed of 142.

215hp is good. About 4 grand to install is ok. I'll still like to see more power however. And a LSD. And a brake kit, et al.
Peace

That's quite the odd website - maxituner. Half is in english and half is in German. Why not have two sites? Then even more odd, the bottom of one of the pages has each sentence split up - part in english and part in germany. It's the part about the warranty. Funny they make that part messed up so you really don't know what they are saying...

That's already got me crying foul!
