ummm,,, head spider??!!,,,slighty rod rap!!!! and "prime the fuel"!!??
Can you speak english for those of us that are lost in the tech world? :) Exactly what are you saying, just like to know. Thanks in advance. |
i had a self induced problem with oil starvation to #4 cyl. due to not waiting for the proper lines for my oil cooler . (line blew and wreeked havoc. ) so it was time to tear down while in there i decided to buy a head from a fellow member who found jesus . so new rings , rod bearings and a head went in . it was fun but i'll wait till the mustang is outta my garage before anything serious again i think . the fuel priming is a case of empty lines . you gotta lose the pressure in the lines to take the rail off . plus evaporation ;it sat a while . it took forever for the fuel to come up . did i say it sounds great ?

So you went through a major project. It's exciting and nerve racking I must admit. I had my 87 325i BMW worked on almost completely long time ago so I kinda know what your going through. Hope it works out great for you. When it's time to test keep us informed. |
i'll be using butt dyno . i will be looking for af meter though. have to post on that one as i have no clue other than the need for another o2 sensor .
