ummm,,, head spider??!!,,,slighty rod rap!!!! and "prime the fuel"!!??

Can you speak english for those of us that are lost in the tech world? :)

Thanks in advance.

i had a self induced problem with oil starvation to #4 cyl. due to not waiting for the proper lines for my oil cooler . (line blew and wreeked havoc. ) so it was time to tear down while in there i decided to buy a head from a fellow member who found jesus . so new rings , rod bearings and a head went in . it was fun but i'll wait till the mustang is outta my garage before anything serious again i think . the fuel priming is a case of empty lines . you gotta lose the pressure in the lines to take the rail off . plus evaporation ;it sat a while . it took forever for the fuel to come up . did i say it sounds great ?

im assuming he is saying thank you to someone named spider for a Head ie a cylinder head. Priming the fuel i also assume meangs injecting some fuel into the cylinders upon start up, much like priming a lawn mower by pushing squeezing the small plastic pump filled with fuel. slighty rod rap i could take some guesses about but i'm just as lost as you. also some pictures might be nice, one thing about this forum that bugs me is its great description without pictures. congrats to the op though, thats gotta feel good!

that makes a little more sense now.

So you went through a major project. It's exciting and nerve racking I must admit. I had my 87 325i BMW worked on almost completely long time ago so I kinda know what your going through. Hope it works out great for you. When it's time to test keep us informed.
