I'm with you on cutting weight, I'm still full interior and 12" sub...lol
13.44 @ 105.85 with a 2.35 60'
13.373 @ 108.74 with a 2.33 60'
I will post them tonight
Yeah I like doing the roll-ons too cause it takes the bad traction out of it.
I have made a few V8's wonder....lol
Clutch was replaced about 25K ago, I kicked around all the clutches on the market and they all had there places but the only one I would have gone with was OS Giken but its not a very street friendly or drag friendly clutch , all the others have to many bad reviews. I decided to say screw it and try the OEM , If it failed then at least I would know it and be forced to go to something else.
If you roll the inner fenders you can put 8" wide rims , I'm running 7.5" 17's
I might try and find some 16" that will fit my breaks, they make some 16" slicks but without a good sidewall like 15" its hard to get hook....
this is my daily, been kicking around another mini no sunroof and building a more drag racer out of it...

How is your clutch holding up? That is the main weakness I think of these cars. If the clutch was stronger you could put more tire on the front and that would help with the launch. These cars are awesome for roll-on's, I've taken down an SRTB Magnum before. I checked that guys driveway the other day and he just bought a Mini!
mine is a jmtc kevlar stage 3 clutch, maybe 10k miles on it. I gave it about 2k miles to break in and have been thrashing the hell out of it since.
went from 205s to 235 tires in the hope of hooking a little better, which really i havent drove it much since they went on the same day i went to the track. Car will still spin them 1st/2nd, 3rd will break loose on a downshift every now and then. but they are noticeable heavier, maybe +\-5lbs, and i will probably go back to 205s and stick to the roll racing.
at this point more tire=drag radials, but there is plenty of room for improvement before that. which i will prob never get to, daily ride mostly just having fun
i would prob have better luck running 1/4 mile passes with my awd denali after a few mods, i 60' camaros all day long with it

For every .1 you pick up in the 60' you will gain .2 in ET.
so 2.33 60' @ 13.3 ET well if you where to run a
2.0 60' you would gain .6 so that would make your ET 12.7 .
Guy over the pond in full body car / stock motor/ bolt-on mods ( like me ) has record, 12.8 ET . Its an auto trans car with slicks. He pulled a 1.8 60'
If I could get a 1.8 60' i would run a 12.4ish . I have more HP than him
I would like to go after that record but I would have to change my front brakes back to OEM or wilwood small to get a 15" rim on it. Then possibly some axles.
Getting me pumped up , If I'm in town this Friday I might go to the drag stip now..lol

The CAE shifter is one of my favorite mods I have. Between the CAE and the Ohlins for the fav...!!!!!!
I went with CAE for the reverse lockout , I have gone in reverse a few times but after running it awhile it helps all around, 2-3 is a breeze, just push it forward with the palm of your hand and it goes right in.
There is a knock off for about 600.00 kicking around. I know one guy who bought one, said it was a pain to set up but it works.
Here is a link to the console I made , I wanted to show it off but not just have a hacked up console.

well all this talk got me wanting to try and beat that guy over the pond.
I ordered Hoosier 225/45 17 today. Jerry at Eurotech is letting me borrow some 17x8's
I was going to try and put 15" wheels on it but I'm not looking to side step the clutch ,just keep from spinning 2&3. I read a few guys have got below 2.o 60' with the hoosiers ...... Next Friday I should have them on and hit the track before it gets to hot......
