Hey guys been taking my mini to the local strip and was wondering what it would take to run a 9.1? Im running 9.5s with 2.3 60 foot right now.
My mini is an 04 with a 15% and intake. I have stock r90s with 214/40 falken fk-452.

I know I can work on my launch alot but what modifications should it take to reach that et? I live in florida so the coldest it will ever get around here is 60 degrees.

What mph are you trapping at at the moment? Why 9.1s why not 8.9s

22 inch slicks or 195 50 15 BFG drag radials will help your 60ft drop to the 2.0s

Seeing as you are in a nice warm place, a small shot of nitrous would help u be consistant as the top mount IC will be your enemy at the drags.

 

9.1s just to compete with my friends srt4. Also a local mini owner supposedly ran 9.1s in his mini. This is my daily driver so no slicks but nitrous system that is safe would be awesome. Im not positive about my trap, need to dig up the time slips. If I recall correctly the high 70s maybe low 80s. Does that sound about right?

 

... Typical Paul... The guy has a CAI and 15% pull and you tell him to try a 22inch Slick!

 

just check my trap and 60 foot. Trap was 75.xx and 60 was 2.3xxx that was the best 60 I have been able to get out of my car. I just give the wheels a quick chirp to clean of any road funk. Any tips?

 

Thats about as good as it gets on road tyres
