  1. P21S Carnauba Wax-incredible shine & no residue on my black bits
  2. Klasse All-In-One-incredible shine, easy to apply, & no white residue (looking forward to trying & adding the Klasse Sealant Glaze to my cleaning regime this spring)
  3. Smart Carwash Shampoo-dunno how it does it but after washing with this stuff my Mini shines like I have just waxed it
  4. Microfiber Towels
  5. Meguiar's Quik Clay Detailing System-available locally & works great so why switch

You can also buy Einszett products directly from the importer. He has an online store at: www.1z-usa.com (although I just went there and it appears that the site is down right now).

Gummipflege is a great product!

Thanks for the Enzett links!

Every spring I give my door seals a good soaking with Gummipflege, wait 10 minutes and wipe it off w/ a microfiber. I then sprinkle a bit of baby powder on a microfiber and pass it over the seals. The Gummipflege moisturizes and protects the seals. The baby powder stops the moist seal from sticking to the paint and deforming the seal when you open the door.

My only honorable discovery:

1. The "California Duster" creates thousands of tiny scratches in the clearcoat; but it does a good job at removing dust.

Clay Magic

This clay/lubricant was $6 or $7 less expensive than the Meguiars, Mothers, or Zaino clay packages, yet it did just as good a job.

Porter Cable Polisher

This is the first time I ever used a machine polisher for prepping and I'll never go back to hand polishing.

However for protectant, I did apply and remove NXT by hand because it's so easy to use.

I may be a little biased, but my How-to Polishing DVD should be on EVERYONES list of discoveries for the year. Since it shows how to polish by hand or PC/machine and isn't product specific.

Since this is the first car I have felt motivated to fuss over AT ALL, mine are pretty basic:
1. Garage
2. Clay
3. MF towels
4. Wash Mitt
5. Langka

Nothing that hasn't been mentioned above, but all new to me in 2006.

Um... you "MAY" be?

Luckily, the DVD is awesome (or so I hear - SCurves still hasn't brought it by for a proper watching).

Before I got my MC and became even more OCD than before, I would take all of the "buggage" off of my Triumphs with a paste of water and Baking Soda. This may have left "swirlies", but on my TR6 that would be the least of the problems! The stuff really removes bugs!!!

BTW - in the Triumph world, OCD is called "shipwright's disease" - where you start out to do a small job, say replace the wiper blades, then see that the windshield could use a polish, then notice that there's some rust on the "A" pillar, and finally end-up stripping and repainting the whole car. A tragic affliction.

And you make me out to be a lier. I did too bring it buy. The big screen was missing in the garage...and your horse was taking up family room.

Eureka!

OK. I only have one but I MUST share. I have the PIAA Sport Mesh wheels and they are a total pain to clean. They look AWESOME when they're done but...well y'all know.

Anyway, I've been trying some different products but I just found the ONE!

Meguiar's Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner - The 'Xtreme Cling' foam (non-aerosol) helps a lot with all the spoke surfaces. Spray, wait 15 seconds, rinse. OMG! It REALLY works. NO BRUSH. Unbelievable. $6 (?) at AutoZone
