Meguiar's cordless orbital buffer

Has anyone used the cordless orbital buffer (G104)?

I live in an apartment so I usually head to a parking garage to do my detailing (no shade over my parking spot at home). Obviously I have no electrical access there so the cordless buffer is the only way to save my poor polishing arm from falling off at the end of an afternoon.

For only $90 it seems like a good deal, and it would get me to detail my MINI more often, too.

Thoughts?

Sorry for the delayed reply. The G104 should work fine for your application to ease and speed up the process of applying wax to your finish if that's all you're expecting it to do. Unfortunately it's not a cordless version of the G100 which is the professional and serious enthusiasts choice for detailing their cars. The G104 just doesn't have the power to buff out swirls and cobwebs during the wax application process, however if that's not a concern, then it should be fine!

You might also consider getting an EZ UP for shade protection. You'll want a 12x12 at the minimum. The 10x10 is just a little too small for the MINI which is what I have.
