Replacing driver side door panel best option?

I clipped a low pole along my drivers side door, so I now have a significant scratch (paint gone, scratch well into the steel). Scratch/dent runs about 3/4 inch tall and about 18 inches wide.

Assuming any "touch up" product will fall short of getting the job done. Any of you kind folks have suggestions regarding repair?

Thanks!

You can find complete door assemblies at salvage yards or even eBay for as low as $100.00 per Door.

With luck you can find a correct paint replacement and just swap the assembly out if repairing is beyond your reach.

Best of luck.

As long as you did not damage the hinges there should be no issue changing to a recycled door. What is the year and model of your car?

I remember a sign in a "junk yard" when I was kid, "We sell used parts, the same type that the car you came here in uses."

You will need more than a new door. Looks like your left fender was damaged as well. No magical pen would fix those damages. A trip to a body shop is your only option.

I figured as much. Just thought I'd run the issue by some experienced eyes.

Replacement body part appear easy to find. Must the swapping out be done by a professional?

Thanks again everyone!
