No idea, I use Black Wow too and love it. Why not try it on a very miniscule out of the way spot and see how it works? If someone does ask about the little black spot just tell 'em a crow pooped on it.
Just came across this/ my post again. I ended up using 303 on the Miata top. It looked great but I suspect not as long lasting as Black WOW. That stuff always amazes me how long it allows my black trim on the MINI to keep looking good. Cleans up nice with a wash and lasts a long time.
Can't fault you for following the advice of a professional detailer, but I've watched a few of his videos and I wouldn't let him near my car with the products and techniques he uses. For example, he uses all purpose cleaner (which can be used to degrease engine bays!) almost every surface in a car... I would be incredibly mad if I hired him to detail my car only to find out he used an APC on my carpet and now my car stinks like APC. Darren's techniques are fine for "production detailing", but there are MUCH better products and techniques to use on your own car that you actually care about.
