Meguiar's paste wax

Has anyone ever tried Meguiar's #16 paste wax? I wonder why some fools will pay up to $70(!) for this average size tin of wax. It costs about $21-26 normally but now people all over the Net are scrambling to get their hands on this. Is it similar to the wacky overpriced Zymol stuff that sells for $2,000 a can? What makes #16 different from the plain ol can of Meguiar's paste wax that I've been using for a year and a half?

Apparently it has been out of production for a little while now, and supply is drying up. It has been awhile since I have been on Autopia much, but a lot of detailers really liked the #16.

#16 was popular because of it's durability. But thanks to VOC laws they stopped selling it. There have been rumors that it's still sold under the Meguiar's Marine line and outside of the USA. I have a couple of cans. It looks good, but extremely difficult to remove..but for that reason, it stays on the your car for a long time too. People pay $$ for it because it's not readily available in the USA.
