One more reason to not live in NJ or PA. Sometimes I leave my Pure Silver MCS at my buddy's house (E. Stroudsburg, PA) while we go up to Rochester for business in his car.

Well - he has mulch outside his house and they get that stupid Artillery Fungus (I got it at my old place too - very common in mulch here). Unfortunately, I parked close enough to the mulch without thinking about it and my car got sprayed a bit - on top, and every side.

I waxed my car w/ Epic about a month ago - hopefully that is providing some protection from these little orbs of fungal hate ...

What's the best way to remove these, without damaging my finish? Am I going to have to re-clay the whole thing or can I just remove each gently w/ a fingernail, etc, and then use my NXT car wash?

This is the first I've heard of this fungus. Googling shows the fungus getting on the radar 1997. Apparently, the spore hang on with something like superglue. A FAQ on the fungus at PSU mentions corn oil. :eek2: Clay bar is probably your best bet as evidenced in a linked blog in the FAQ. I don't bother with folding over clay. As BradB suggested, I tear off a piece and flatten to a size of a silver dollar; when one side is done, flip, repeat, then save the dirty clay for the windows or wheels.
