Major Computer Crash at Detailers Paradise: Shipping Delays
UPDATE:
As of Monday, February 11th, we are finally up and running again. All orders placed to date should ship out today.
Much of our backed up data was corrupt somehow so we had to recreate alot of history, as well as fix some critical issues in our system's functionality. It hasn't been fun!
Anyway, we really appreciate the patience and understanding of all who ordered during the past 2 weeks.

Well, we're open again from our inventory closure... that's the good news!
The bad news is that our main on-site server hard drive has completely crashed, and along with it our order processing system (and history) and our shipping system (and history).
Luckily, we backed up the order processing system but now are having problems restoring it. DHL has helped us with the shipping system but for some unknown reason they said it will take them 24-48 hours to upload our account information so we can ship again.
This is horribly frustrating for us and I know it must be for those of you with pending orders!
Please bear with us as we get all of this fixed, as we have no way to process or ship orders without this core system issue resolution.
Again, we appreciate your patience and we're sorry for the shipping delays!

Please bear with us as we get all of this fixed, as we have no way to process or ship orders without this core system issue resolution.In summary, if you have ordered from us anytime during our closure (after 3pm MST on January 25th through Monday, February 4th) OR anytime this week, we will not be able to ship your order until at least tomorrow (Thursday, 2/7) or Friday of this week. There is a slight chance that we won't be able to ship until Monday but I hope not!
Again, we appreciate your patience and we're sorry for the shipping delays!

Yea I am a computer programmer/Database administrator, and I hate computers... Today our OC3 connection went down for 5 hours, so for a company with 200 employees that cant access anything due to the internet... Mr. President of the company was PISSED! but you have my sympathy.. and you will be getting an order soon

Hope you get it up and running soon! Nice job doing a back-up though. Mine always seems to crash when I am most vulnerable.
