A quick post to tell anyone that doesn't already know, Heather is without question, the unrefuted Queen of Customer Service. I can't begin to describe how completely satisfied I am with the communication and level of service coming out of DP, thanks to her. No one does it better, IMHO.
You've generated a loyal customer. Thanks!

It's a Toyota Tacoma, so it is a small truck, thank goodness.

Just got back from the store, got me my new PC, some new Epic, 2 bottles of slick, a bottle or Nero, a bottle of P21S total Auto Wash, a new wash mit, a new Black 6" pad, 2 Dial-Pile MF buffing cloths, and one of their T-shirts for the wife, in a nifty salmon/rose color Also got to hang with their pups, Heather and Nick have really cool, friendly dogs

you get more for your money, but then again, you don't get to go visit them as often. They have a great store, been going there more often lately!!!

Every time I go in their store I come out with things I didn't know I needed. If I switched to gallons, I'd save too much money and the DP Dynamic Detailing Duo would feel like I was less of a customer. Gotta keep those doggies in biscuits!
Really though, I do buy Hydro and Mystique by the gallon.
03Indigo - Have you tried the Prima Mystique yet? It is my favorite every-day car shampoo.

no, I don't use the Mystique, have not converted. Got 5 gallons of McGuires Gold blend car wash to get through first....it works great, and I am happy with it, but once that is gone, I am switching to Mystique.

rrrroaaarrrrrr, hehe

Hydro. good choice.

dont forget to order Slick too.

i did a back to back test: slick vs griot's speedshine over
tar spots.

Slick came out on top with a HUGE margin. so much more lifting power.

PaulCIssa is right, heather owns Best Customer Service title!
When I had my first order couple month ago, she was so nice and helpful on the phone and helped me saving some shipping charges, felt like talking to my old friend. All I ordered was a $3 PC wrench, she even included some DP mints in my order.

Heather even reads my mind! Great summer sale came just in time for my order..

I gonna have that Black Wool Mitt, hopefully it won't make my white root black...

Now kenchan, Can I join Hydro club with a small bottle? Or you guys had to drink a gallon of hydro and put video on youtube to qualify?

First off, I got the shoes AT Detailers Paradise!!!!...well, 4 of my six pairs anyway.

Piloti shoes are nice because they are made with a rolled heal, and a pad on the outside of the right shoe to protect againse engine heat/transmission heat. Granted, that does not apply all that much in a front wheel drive car. But these shoes compared to other driving shoes can be worn all day without your feet hurting. They are comfortable, and they are wicked cool. Puma driving shoes hurt my feet, so they are only good for driving.

A good driving shoe help with heel toe driving, and again, I only do that at the track, and even then, I am not that good at it....but I just like them because they are nice, and they have a sports driving style!!!

Back to the summer sale at Detailers Paradise....go buy stuff, they have cool stuff!!!, Including shoes!!!

YES, please request Jeremy to include your name in the Hydro club thread.

lol, nono, you don't need to consume it all in your body, just make sure
you leave some extra for your car for best results.

have to agree with Indigo on the Piloti's. there is a HUGE difference
between ordinary shoes and driving shoes. also, it's great as walking shoes
as well. super comfy.

i can't see myself driving MT cars anymore without driving shoes.

And they all look so good lined up like that in front of your fireplace!

By the way, not to hijack my own thread but...
We have our entire stock of Piloti shoes on sale right now for 40% off!

We carry mostly the "Spyder" style, but we do have a couple of the others too. (the Spyders are the ones in the photo above, with the exception of the one on the far right, which is the Monaco)

Note: We do not ship Piloti shoes unless you already have the same style of Piloti's already and therefore already know your size. No exceptions. Sorry! (doing otherwise would be logistical and expense suicide for me due to the inevitable returns! )

So, for any of you who are passing through Denver on your way to MITM... swing by and take a look! They are, as Indigo and Kenchan have already said, very cool shoes. Comfy and car-practical, not to mention great looking!

My pleasure, guys! I usually feel so behind on everything that it's nice to know that I'm being helpful.

I've said it before but I'll say it again because it's sooo true... all MINI owners are the absolute nicest people we ever work with, hands down! It is much easier providing good customer service to such nice people. So, thanks for making it so easy!

That is why I bought one of everything they had in my size. I think I could have found others, but I really like what I ended up with.

You can't beat 40% off of those shoes. Even without a sale, they are a grat value.
