AHEM... ALL DCMM MEMBERS...

It isn't just a board meeting that is happening after the MoS breakfast... it's our Annual meeting - as in ALL MEMBERS PLEASE COME!

The meeting will happen between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm at the Buffalo Wing Factory in Ashburn, VA. Lunch will be paid for by the club for all members who attend.

It is very unfortunate that this Mach V open house is happening on the same day, at the same time.

I ask each and every DCMM member to please come to the annual meeting, because it is the most important one of the year, where we discuss what we're doing as a club for the next year, and we vote for new board members. Since we will be finished around 1:30pm, there will still be time to go to the Mach V open house afterwards, since they finish at 4pm. I plan on doing just that myself.

umm, I don't live in the DCMM forum. It's been said that more DCMM'ers are not NAM'ers than are. what was the process to notify? NAM alone? Not trying to start trouble, but Edge's post is honestly the first notice I saw about it not being a board meeting.

 

There was an email sent on 2/24 titled "News from DC Metro MINIs" from Krut. It starts off with voting on the new By laws, than onto the Annual Meeting. Did you not receive it?

I'd like to come by the breakfast, hit the meeting, then the Open House, but I committed to VoiD to do his brakes before the Mach V event.

 

I would say come by the meeting at least for a bit so you can hear what is going on/vote one new board member, which MiniNurse and I are going for (plug). This is also the time to tell us what is on your mind, good/bad, and see what we can do to make the club move forward for the best.

Also, PM Krut about not receiving the newsleter. PM me your email and I will send it to you if you still want it.

 

I don't recall getting it either. It may have gone into my junk mail. i actually didn't realize it was all member meeting. Looks like I'll be at the meeting first.

Wow,ten people coming and yet I was the only one actually there... Other than 2 MINIs dropped of by MOS.

 

others showed up after the meeting apparently and VoiD and I stopped by late in the day after finishing work on his car. We ran into Edge there.

 

I was there from about 1:30-3:30

 

Yes, a fairly decent contingent went there right after the annual meeting, and I showed up too after I met with the board (the new board's first meeting is usually right after the annual meeting)... but once I got there I was the only MINI owner present - until PGT & Void showed up.

 

I was there as well.

Congratulation on the open house. Thank you for inviting us and I'm looking forward to see more of the Minis' toys and parts soon.
