I am definetely interested in the MINICup. I do not have a co-pilot though. Will it be a problem if there's no co-pilot? Oh and Jeremy, if you are still looking to go (that is if your parents aren't letting you take your MINI) I have an open seat and I also have an open bed available. PM me and let me know what your plans are for the Dragon. Looking forward to motoring with fellow MINI lovers!!!!!

Drive down with a group of fellow MINI enthusiasts, get a bag of goodies (shirts, stickers and some other cool stuff), relax after the run at the Helix BBQ (weather permiting) and compete for the most presdigious prize in motorsports...THE MINICup TROPHY

Since a few people have expressed interest in participating, but weren't sure about being ablt to make it to the welcome dinner if you leave from DC at 8am, Im going to leave the launch time for the DC group up to Kurt and anyone else interested in the event. The Philly group will still be leaving at 6am, but all of you can feel free to leave whenever you wish. The BBQ will open to anyone who participates or wants to come and hang out.
On Wednesday we're leaving at 06:00 (that's 6 AM for you non military folks). I'm thinking we'll be meeting at Potomac Yards in Alexandria - that makes it easy for us to get on the road via I-395.
On Thursday - I need a leader (Edge??) to be on radio to meet up with the guys from Philly - most likely off of I-66. You'll be meeting the Philly crew at roughly 8AM - they are leaving Philly center city at 0600.

I will be happy to help if I do leave on Thursday, which is most likely. There's a chance though that I'll be leaving on Wednesday... not sure yet!
Kurt sent me the starting place for the Wednesday group, so I will start finalizing that route right now.
If there is interest for a group leaving on Thursday, they can leave DC at 8am and meet up with us on the road. I will just need someone to distribute stickers and help determine a starting point.

The Thursday group will be meeting the group from Philly on the road. So you wont be alone on the drive down. I will place you and anyone else that wants to, somewhere on the route near DC and you can just meet us on the highway.
