Useless information:

'bump' stands for 'Bring Up My Post'!

Huh, I thought that I was all kinds of cool and knew some secret internet geek info!

Ah well!

BTW, is it ok if we bring a couple of hats if we can't decide on one?

Of course! Now if you show up without a hat you will have to wear one from the hat bin that I pick out for you.

Hi Folks,

Just a reminder, this Saturday is the Mad Hatter Party at Casa de Asya in Reston. All are welcome but all must wear a hat. For party information click here!

See you Saturday!
Asya

p.s. I apologize to those who didn't think it appropriate I post this party on NAM. I won't be posting anymore non-DCMM events. Just don't be upset if you miss out on future fun.

Very sorry to hear this... I for one thought it was great that you combined all your social groups in the events.. I had a lot of fun!

Perhaps I should just start a thread titled "Non-DCMM Events by Asya"

This is a DCMM reserved area curtesy of NAM but it's not only for DCMM events. In fact, many events this summer were not Club sponsored events but people enjoyed them as well. Isn't the purpose of a club to make friends, anyway?

I for one have thoroughy enjoyed many "non-DCMM-only" events that Asya has organized. As long as they are identified as "multi-group" events, I don't see the problem. DCMMers just need to pay attention to the info - if you don't want to socialize with non-MINIacs, don't come!

Note: DCMM-only events are the ones that get the [day, date] brackets in the title, are stickyed and are put in the DCMM calendar (and the website). If an event doesn't have that, expect a wider social range at the event!

Shots

HELP!!!!! I am not a shot connoisseur and I want to serve shots at my party Saturday night. I bought a party pack of shot glasses last night but I don't know what to put in them. What is an easy shot to serve at a party? I would prefer a shot that does not need to be pre-mixed.

I am having a similar problem. Do I wear the tiara or the vintage hat or the Ocelot hat ... decisions, decisions! I can't wait to see what you choose
