Agreed. Maybe we could start the "Help Sally get a bigger Rear sway bar installed thread/fund"

While you're at it I wouldn't mind a "Give Matt money just because" fund.

This probably means you're still interested in those stick shift lessons.

That has never changed...even if I keep Mia. Driving a manual transmission is a skill I plan to learn in my lifetime!

Picked up a nice new shiny stainless steel grill last night. We can 'christen' it next weekend. I just need to figure out how to put bonnett stripes on the big stainless lid... That won't melt at 700 degrees! Maybe I better settle for stipes on the cover.

Ha.. Well its just a pipe dream for now. I would need to get the new job first.
If I do, I like to get the Manual AND keep Mia! More MINIs to Mod! I wish I could have ordered an '06!

Cool. That'd be sweet. I think I'll do the cover though. Since that's what'll be visible most of the time, and then I don't have to worry about the heat and all...

New (Mini on Order)

Mark,

My wife Kandice and I would like to attend your cookout on Sunday and are also interested in the club. We recently ordered Kandice a Royal Gray and Silver MCS from MINI of Sterling. Not sure when it will arrive, still waiting on a production number. We live in Old Town Alexandria so we are just up the road from you.

We would be pleased to bring whatever, just let us know what you need.

Michael and Kandice

Whatever you like!

Only a few have said what they're bringing. (Re; the listin the first post) So we may have some duplication.

I'd ask those thinking of coming that haven't rsvp'd to do so soon, I hope to do most of the grocery shopping Wed and Thurs... and a aproximate head count will help.

Weather looks nice for Sun too!

Oh, and I meant to say welcome! Someone walked into my office while I was responding and I forgot to add that before I submitted that post. At least one couple came last year while they were waiting for their car. Immersing yourself in a day of MINI socializing is a good way to ease the pain of the wait. I used to live in Oldtown myself, near Facia Luna.

Come on down, it's a nice group

Yes, I believe that couple was James and I. I came in my Honda. This will be a first anniversary of going to a DCMM event.

How about I bring cole slaw? I like cole slaw - but does anyone else?

If you're going to be in OC what you really need to bring back is Fisher's Caramel Popcorn.
