Carrie and I were talking about coming to this but we need to do a little planning and were wondering if there were going to be any kids there?

Hmm, not in the RSVP's so far, but we'll see as the RSVP's come in. Perhaps if others see you bringing some they'll be more likely to bring their own. Things should be kid friendly...

Mark,

I made a momentary decision this past weekend to bring "brownie bites" to the picnic instead of "near home-made chocolate cake"... just letting you know!

Well as far as I know Carrie and I are coming, the only question is if the kids are coming and I guess we'll see if anyone else says that they're bringing kids.

If need be, I can find some and bring them. Just ignore the Amber Alerts that day

LOL No, that's ok. I'm pretty sure my kids will be ok and without having to break any laws, but thanks anyway Jay.

Don't worry, I won't let Jay bring any kids. We would have to bring the Element...since Soulfire has no backseats! and I want to have Soulfire!!! I've been missin my baby!! Didn't get her back today, they had to order a new AC/heater for me...something about the computer not reading when I was pushing the buttons on the front.. Just as long as the auto up still works after!!! hoping for only one more day..

Tools

Mark do I need to bring any tools? Or do you think you have everything we will need for the bar installs?

Also, Sally mentioned a Pool Cue. Should I bring one to shoot some?

We need to go buy some jack stands. Though we no longer will have a garage, I think they will be purposeful in the future.

Tools..

I should have all the tools you need. The only limitation I can think of is I have one floor jack and one pair of jackstands. If the cars are to be done simultaneously then we need another pair of stands. Once on the stands the jack shouldn't be needed and I'd guess can serve both cars.

Cues, sure bring em. Be aware it's only a 7 foot table...

Hmmm. Pretty light on the RSVP list compared to last year. Come on folks, my gas grill died Sunday and I NEED to rationalize the replacement I'm shopping for being LARGER. Perhaps Sunday vs last year's Saturday wasn't such a good idea after all?

Well, maybe Sunday wasn't the best idea. I remember as we talked at my house, that we all decided that a sunday would be grand because I don't work on sundays.....THEY screwed me.....now that I am not leaving the hospital...they have put me on the crappiest schedule and I have to work on the 23rd. Glad to just find out now! I am so sorry. Jay and I are out. Sorry. And that means, unfortunatly, the sway bar will have to be put in at LDG. I'll keep mine for you Sally. but I won't be able to make it now cause i gots to work fri, sat, and now sun nights. This sucks!

So if Soulfire gets the sway done on Monday does that mean we get to take our time and have fun with Sally's car? Or work out some deal with John of LDG.

I would like to save some pennies, Let me think about it....Who is willing to help?

I think I can handle some of it but I am concerned about the part where you put everything back together.
I may need some muscle to get the sway bar in.

I can help with a bit. But we'll have good tools for leverage, air wrenchs, breaker bars etc. I'd like to hear someone who has some expertise will be around unless you're comfortable with the process and just want extra hands! I've no experience with suspension... And I will likely be fairly busy with food prep too.

I wish Mark W could join us for the cookout. I know he has done a few sway bars including mine.

Unless there is someone there who has done this before, I'd rather not do this. No offense, but I cant afford to mess up my MINI.
