darn rain...was a PITA...my glasses breaking in the middle of the drive didn't help. The rain is over, and my specs are fixed tho. Paul found a great route again..everyone should do it on a nice day cuz it's a corker when it's dry...
Hope everyone had fun regardless of the weather.
Paul, we'll miss you!!!

P.S. what happened to Will and Betty? They vanished....

Today was a lot of fun even with the rain cancellation. It was nice to drive a run! I am sorry about your glasses Katie - I have been there before and I know that it is not a good situation.

So I know what happened to Group 2. What happened to group 1 - how did group 3 beat them?

Good times, everybody. Enjoyed the driving, and chatting with the Katie and the folks at that table during lunch. My chicken-fried steak induced a heavy nap when I got home.

Sorry I can't make it tonight Paul, but you kids have a good time. Be safe to, from and during your TDY to FLA.

Cheers, everybody!

Hey, it's the "when" you get there, it's the "if"...and everybody did, so that's what's important.
Having said that...um...sorry, Group 1 if I let ya down.....trying to drive and read the map at the same time (I never trust my odometer) was no easy task...I'm not good at multi-tasking I did drive it this past week, but it's a lil different when it's sunny and yer by yerself...

It was real good

A lot of fun, despite the rain. The roads were beauts. Our group (2 - Blue?) even managed to find some extra turns!

Thanks Paul! for the great route. Thanks for moving the date to the 8th. And thanks to everyone who stepped forward to serve as point car for each group.

By the way, the lunch was really good. Never mind that I discovered a way to pour most of a bottle of BBQ sauce on my fries when they arrived, to everyone's surprise, and everyone else's amusement.

This was my first driving event with DCMM and it was a great time despite the rain. Can't wait for the next driving event.

I'm thinking I'll have to go back to yesterdays route when it's dry, should be real fun.

Perhaps we should have a MBTB II.5 sometime in the REAL spring. Had a great time Paul and take care of yourself.

Indeed. The weather was teh p00. If it had been on Sunday, or at least had Sunday's weather, it would have been 100x better. It was still a a decent drive though.

Somehow Paul, who has GPS Navigation, refuses to admit he CHEETED! That's right, he's a cheat! The groups were 15 minutes apart, meaning he led his group 30 mins after the first group left, and beat BOTH the first and second group!!!

Someone skipped parts of the route and relied on his GPS to re-calculate! BAD FORMER EVENTS COORDNATOR GUY, YOO!

Did you hear the hostess girls say we could order from anywhere on the Menu? B and I tried to order from the Breakfast portion, and they said no. That was the only thing that looked good to us, and combined with the fact that B felt sick, and no one parked where the directions specified (sorry that peeved me, but I am who I am) we figured it would be best to go home.

So we left, she took a nap, and I got some MCS track time in on Gran Toursimo 4... Then we went and ate at a real restaurant, and then to the 3 Doors Down concert in Annapolis.
