Have fun guys

I'm 850 miles due north of you - but the weather is fantastic!

Not currently a member of DCMM, but would like to participate in the DC parade since it's closer. Is that possible?

I just read about the 2004 Atlanta MINI reindeer parade and was thinking how FUN it would be to be in a PARADE myself!

Just to clarify:

For the DC Parade you don't need to be a DCMM member because number of cars is not an issue - however, we ask you to contribute $5.00 to defry the cost of the club insurance like in any other event.
For the Annapolis Parade members had the first 20 spots guaranteed. If we had a spot or two available we will offer it to the non member with a $5.00 fee. Fair? Clear enough? Mr. President correct me if I am wrong.

MD STREGA2

PS: lounytoon I just e-mailed you personally

Works for me...

This may sound silly, but I gotta say it anyway because I'm **** this way... Scrub those cars! For a parade our cars need to be showroom clean or better

OK, then you can wash all our cars, just to make sure they meet your standards!

We will be there after the Capitol Parade.

Can you send me directions from Tate to your house or from the capitol parade or your address and I will mapquest it.

To those of you who would like to come to our house in between parades, our address is 627 Old County Road, Severna Park, MD 21146.
You should be able to mapquest for directions. If you need any other info, PM me.

Here's the scoop: I will supply a place to wash your car and a hose. You must bring your own cleaning supplies. Please also bring something to sit on, cash for food&drinks and/or auto car wash and bathing suits and towels.. My house will be a bit of a wreck, so please bear with us. We can get something to eat locally, and if our community beaches aren't too crowded, we can go for a swim in the Severn. Worse comes to worse, I can set up the sprinkler.

How about DaCrema for both. I didn't think I would be able to make it - but I can.

If I'm not mistaken the...

...Annapolis parade was 'full' about two weeks ago... Suggest you check for a response, so you don't travel and get disappointed..

Check in the Annapolis thread.

It's not so much that I want to be IN the parade, just want to see everyone. Works out better for me if I drive down visit and then head on home. That way I be back in time for the local fire works (Falls Church).

FYI:
While I have some decorations that I'm wiling to share, I don't have enough to do all the cars for the Naptown parade. So, if you're not going to the DC parade but plan on being in the Ntwn parade, bring decorations!

Capitol Hill Parade ONLY

Please check the original list- revised as of today - and make sure to inform me ASAP if you don't see your name.

Makes sure to understand clerily when and where to meet.

I can add up to three more cars for this Parade, BUT you must contact me first.

We don't have a Pepper White this year. Do we?

Coming from VA you'll take I-395 North across the 14th Street Bridge. Take the US Park Police exit. At the end of the road, make a right. Make another right at the river (it's the only way you can go). The lot will be on your right past the Park Police Headquarters Building between the two railroad bridges.

Coming from DC, Enter Potomac Park behind the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and go past the Jefferson Memorial (it should be on your right with I-395 on your left) Make the first left past the Jefferson Memorial onto Ohio Drive. The lot will be on your left between the two railroad bridges. I'm assuming we will leave the Park for the parade formation at 9:00 am

Feel free to contact me with questions and/or more info.

If you are running late and cannot meet us at the above location go directly to Capitol Hill - Eastern Market- and call me. 202 251.3907

See you'll there.

So, for MD residents? Just 295S to 50W to 395N?

I don't think you can actually do that...

Take 295 south to the Howard Road exit, and make a right at the bottom of the Ramp.

Go to the light and make a right. Cross the bridge and get on to I-395 SOUTH.

Take the ramp for Maine Ave. Take the ramp for Ohio Drive (probably also signs for the Jefferson Memorial. From the Map I have, make the first left after the Jefferson Memorial. Cross under the bridge, we'll be in one of the lots on your left...

I might be able to help some with that. I have been known to shoot a shot or two.

There is a Pennsylvania west exit off 295 south.

1 mile after the exit, it turns into 395.

295 south.
Get off on Pennslyvania Ave west.
Get on 395 ramp.
Same directions as above, but bypassing howard road, and saving time.

Thanks! And pictures...

It was really nice to meet everyone this morning at the Capitol Hill parade. My girlfriend and I had a particularly good time going on the loop around Potomac Park. I've posted the pics that my girlfriend took this morning on my blog. You can view them here:

http://chunaezoh.org/gallery/mg2/index.php?list=8

Please excuse all the pictures of my car and me. She is my girlfriend after all...
