[Saturday, August 16th @ 11am] Vroom Vroom to Broom's Blooms
Howdy everybody!
If you're coming out to The Meet and Greet at Mini of Towson on August the 16th (you really should!) , join us afterwards as we carve our way through Baltimore and Harford counties to Broom's Blooms Dairy and sample some delicious, farm-made ice cream.
The trip should take about 2-1/2 hours.
Some of the roads are from the We All Scream For Ice Cream Run. Some are from some of my older runs and some are new, never been seen before roads.
So bring a friend.
Bring a radio.
Bring your sweet tooth.
Bring a cooler for take home ice cream!

Sounds like fun! However I'll have returned from a 3700 miles (give or take a few hundred miles 
) road trip the day before, I might not be quite up for it. But we'll see how I feel and whether my co-navigator might like to go too (she LOVE ice cream.... 
).

Unfortunately, it looks like I have to miss this one. I really wanted to do it again too (then again, it looks like i'll have plenty of opportunities). I have to practice for the demonstration team at my martial arts school, and, for better or for worse, I'm the number two guy, so I pretty much have to be there.
I guess i'll see you guys on the next one, because we all know there will be one next month.

Hi all!
I will likely be late to the Meet-n-Greet and just want to confirm that departure for the run would be around 11:30 or so.
Also, is the ice cream stop toward the end of the run? Not sure how up-to-the-task my cooler is and want to try gauge the rate of melt!

Hey Matt,
We'll probably start the run around 11:00.
The dairy is at the end of the run. I believe Glenn and Bev made it back to Germantown without too much meltage following the last run.

Yep, we made it home without too much melting - sides and top were soft but that's all.
I think the drive home was about an hour and fifteen with the ice cream in a small cooler without any ice. We've been to some dairies that will provide ice for your cooler if you ask. We didn't ask since we were only an hour or so from home.

Hello and welcome! Basically, we will be leaving from the Meet & Greet at Mini of Towson at around 11am. If you are a member, it doesn't cost a thing

Around 10:50-11:00, we'll have a short drivers' meeting and then we'll depart.
The run will last approximately 2 1/2 hours and we'll end up at the dairy.
If you don't have a 2 way radio yet, don't worry. Many of us will probably have an extra.
You may also want to bring a camera.
