Counting down now! Sorry I missed adding your mac salad to the list hypnohealer! fixed.

I've moved the 'Tail of Mt Vernon' miniature MINI raceway out to the dining room for now, so we'll have use of both that and the Pool table this time around!

Come one, come all! Those of you that know my folks, they're coming down for it as are my Aunt & Uncle. He's got a sweet 73 Fiat 124...

Looks OK then!

Forecast is for Sunny and 82! Perfect!

(Though even if the weather doesn't playnice it won't matter, the back deck/porch is covered and screened, and we hang out there and the attached rec room mostly.)

Mark,

Anything that we should bring?

We haven't had much time this summer, so it'll be nice to see everyone again!

No problem! Between the thread, the rsvp list, and some pm's and deduping all that I get about 20-21... So far.

Newcomers most welcome! I've usually got a few at each cookout, and I think its a good chance for newcomers to get to know some other members!

I know this is gonna sound dopey, but if everyone wore their badges, then names could be put to faces. If that's too dorky to consider, then please be sure to introduce yourselves...especially the new cult..er..I mean, club members.

I don't think it's dopey! In fact I also put out those adhesive name tags and a marker the first two cookout, but nobody used em.

Mark, one of these years I SWEAR I will make it to this event. Chances are nearing 100% that I will be babysitting carpet installers in Saturday afternoon in my temporary lobby. But, if for some reason that does not take all bleeding day, I will show in the evening time with something drinkable or edible.

That'd be nice! 'Cause I'm just gonna keep having cookouts till you finally show up!

I'll PM you my phone number, in case your wrap up and want to see if the party's still going! Hope to see you!

Tons and tons of parking, 6 in driveway, plenty on street (bunch of ranchers can park anywhere there's lots of room up and down the road) and anyone staying a while can also pull from the driveway into the front yard if ya want... Don't try it from the street, there's a ditch!

I sure hope nobody has to file a claim today !!! No accidents allowed !! And if I have to handle it, that means somebody was injured.

You all have a good time !

Hey Mark thanks for having the cookout at your casa and for the burgers/brats. It was fun hanging with all of you and meeting a few new fanatics. If I ever get my house in order I will have a get together here.

See ya at the next gathering, Brian

+1

Great time indeed! Some new and some familiar faces, terrific house and location, outrageous food (and WAY too much of it), lots of MINIs and cool videos. It just doesn't get any better than that! Heck, even the weather was perfect!

Thanks for having us over (hope the cleanup wasn't too bad)

Thanks, Mark, for setting up and hosting this cookout! Bev and I had a great time...wish we could've stayed later though but we got tuckered out quick.

We'll definitely see you at the next one.

I wish I could have made it.

Hopefully, you will have a second one like last year. I will definitely be there.
