I really wanted to goto this, but I think I'm going to have to take my child to a school program mid-morning.

And you're going to miss the chance to test your new rear sway bar......

This is a great run! And Shepherd's Pie, too? Can't wait!

Of course, what's IN the Shepherd's Pie is still a mystery to me.

Paul and I will be joining the morning run and hanging out for the British Pantry. But I think I will try to expand my experience beyond Shepherd Pie. I usually regret it when I don't have my favorite...but how do you find new favorites if you never try anything new?

I think I'll be able to join the morning run, as well as the lunch at the British Pantry.

Why, shepards of course! The recipe was created by a disgruntled sheep.

I'll be at the meet & greet. Too much boat work (and play) planned to do the pantry.

I'm at work... Be at the boat at 4:15 Ultimate decadance - I bought a portable a/c to use in the boat, it arrived yesterday. I'm doing major interior work this summer and decided I'd be more productive in comfort.

Sorry for hijack, back to your regulary scheduled subject.

If I can get Wensley a bath and a test flight on one of my birds this evening, I may be able to make it.

Try to join us for the morning run through McLean McMansions!
Maxicooper has a terrific route planned as always.

You can dispell the mystery by seeing Sweeny Todd

I didn't make it this morning. I was on my way and stopped in to Ferrari to see the new GranTurismo and ended up with a private tour of the race shop and back house! Everyone was long gone by the time I got there... Oh well, at least I got that ridiculously expensive oil filter i needed.

Terrific time today! Maxi led us down some new fun roads along with some of the oldies and goodies, Sterling put on a wonderful spread of bagels & cream cheese, juices and coffee, and they even had a banner made up saying 'Welcome DC Metro MINIs' hanging on the front of the building. Oh yeah, they even cleared out a bunch of parking spaces just for us! These guys sure treated us right.

Shepherds Pie de-mystified: (British Pantry version) ground beef & carrot slices on the bottom of a (very) small casserole dish, topped with mashed potatoes, then popped under a broiler for a few minutes. Served with a mild beef gravy, and a bottle of 'brown sauce' which is their name for our steak sauce. Yummy!

Might have been a bit warm to sit outside today, but we had umbrellas over the tables and it was pretty pleasant in the shady spots. Even had some stragglers surprise us by showing up after we arrived and were seated. Great times had by all!

+1 Had a wonderful time, today. Glad I decided to goto the Pantry despite that I was 50 minutes late. Really liked their Shepards pie (non Sweeney Todd version) and know to order three for myself next time I go

Awesome...awesome...

Great turn out for today "meet & greet".

I had a really good time. Thanks to MINI of Sterling for their generousity arrange breakfast, welcome banner (and parking spaces). Three thumps up indeed.

Also thanks to mmatarella for an awesome video clip from the Dragon. Love it.

And last, thanks to everyone who came to join the event. Nice talking to everyone, especially, new members. Hopefully, to see you all at the "Cherries pick'in run" next week.

Btw, hopefully everyone who's joint the run this morning love the route. If you have a chance, try doing a reverse route. It is fun as well, you will love it.

Well, given that the motion for an official letter to MoS has been made, seconded (and we do have a quorum) a unanimous vote exists?

I had a great time yesterday, even though I was a bit tired (got back home at 1am Saturday). It is always nice to meet new people and just have a fun time.
