DCMM - Who's going to MOTD '08?

I did a quick run through of the sign up for the farewell dinner and a couple other threads and came up with the following list. So, did I miss anyone? Anybody else coming? Also, are there any plans for a casual get together, sitting around the campfire and telling lies? (Cabin #538, Fri Night after dinner. See post #50) There are so many activities that it might be difficult to pull off.

Let me know if you are not on the list and I'll keep it updated so everyone knows who to watch out for when we get there. Here is what I have so far:

T&CMCSA +1
MINInurse

I'm gonna be there early..like on Sat. Look for cabin #538...it'll have a DCMM banner hanging off the front porch...if I'm not there, I'm either at the info table or if my car's there, but I don't answer..it means I'm asleep..

I didn't think anyone was allowed to sleep at Fontana.

MINInurse Apr 9, 2008 01:47 PM

For the third year in a row I cannot go.
One of these years I shall make the great Mini-MINI pilgrimage.

You guys enjoy yourselves out there!

Maxicooper Apr 9, 2008 02:54 PM

I wish I could go. Will have to wait until both of my kids are in high school.

Oh well, see you at MOTD 2017.

Ambrosia Apr 9, 2008 04:32 PM

Yeah, my going was entirely dependent on finding a reasonable place to stay. Found a cabin 30 mins from everything and although it ain't fancy (no hot tub, pool table, whirlpool or king size beds) it is large, secluded and semi-cheap.

I'd love to get together with other DCMMers if at all possible but it might definitely be hard with everything else going on. With all the driving, I'm technically getting only 2 days there and as a compromise to my bf, I promised we would also do some relaxing and nature stuff. Who wants to arrange a nature hike or something...lol?!

Regardless, it should be a fun time and I'm looking forward to seeing as many people there as possible!

CR&PW&JB Apr 9, 2008 05:02 PM

You missed my +1, Roxanne.

I'm gonna be a frequent visitor in VA so i wanna be on the list... please?

T&CMCSa Apr 9, 2008 05:08 PM

Fixed. Sorry 'bout that. :o

CR&PW&JB Apr 9, 2008 05:12 PM

No worries about missing my other half. She's a lot better looking than me but she's also a lot more subdued.

i'll get you a schedule...

wake up at sunrise
get ready for the day
go out for breakfast
be ready for ANYTHING to happen between 7:30 AM and 11:30 PM
eat lunch when given an opportunity
eat dinner with friends and family at scheduled time
party like a rock star and have fun with friends and family after dinner
go to room AFTER 11:30 PM and get ready for bed
sleep is optional but needed, so get at least 3 hours
showers/bath are included in the getting ready for the day or bed

anything not mentioned is on your time, not MotD's time so either take care of anything else before or after the dragon

yer funny ...

Go out for breakfast? Um..no. The lodge charges a fortune for a mediocre breakfast, so I bring my own.
It's not like you can just totter down the road for meals...it's a 30 - 40 min. drive on kinda dangerous roads if you're not totally alert.

at least 3 hours of sleep? you dam betcha ..more like at least 7.
