How much snow did you get today?

The forecast was calling for a dusting to 1 inch, maybe 2 at most. However, I just went out and measured, I've got 3.75 inches!! When I woke up this morning, the first thing I heard on the radio was the huge number of accidents that were occurring. Seems like the area states were caught by surprise on this one!

I am looking at around 5 I believe. My commute was really long as well. It usually takes me about 30 sec. to get to my office, but it ended up taking like 5 minutes because of the weather.

I think we got close to 4 as well. So much for a "dusting". My snowshoes aren't on yet, so it's the Subaru today....

Well, I don't think you can get snow in 65 degree weather in South Carloina. Sorry for the sarcasm everyone, couldn't resist myself. On a serious note, be careful driving up there everyone.

3-4 inches max, however, I was staying in the Annapolis area last night and the roads were pretty darn bad. They didn't seem to get them salted as the lighter snow was falling, so it wound up getting packed down as it got heavier. The really main roads were plowed, however roads I would think of as being somewhat main, like Riva for example, were still completely unplowed as of 1am... This morning was fine though, I didn't have any problems coming home.

5 and a half inches here. It was a pretty decent snowfall, especially for an early season "clipper system."

Here's a link for Maryland, DC and Virginia snowfall totals as reported by spotters on the National Weather Service site - http://www.erh.noaa.gov/lwx/events/?event=20071205
