Yeah, thought it had to be you.

It's all cool. I thought that was funny but I didn't get the chance to give you all the stink eye since Mr. Wicks was trying to figure out what to do with me.

I offered to go to the Intermediate heat but after seeing how fast that group was, I'm glad they put me into the other novice group.

So where is everyone putting their Wicks Lion Decal?

Ed got a red set and put them just in front of the mirrors, above the side blinkers. I saw them first hand and they look awesome! But I'm afraid my white set may get lost in that spot with my white mirrors.

Would love to see photos of where you all put your lions.

... by the time it was my turn all the white ones were gone
I was planning to put them in the mirror covers of the Clubman but I am not sure now ... I can't see putting anything on the GP besides her numbers

Not a great picture (Dr. P is resting comfortably in the garage this morning) but here's the location:

I've ordered some 1/2" red numbers with the date of the event to insert between the mane and the tail. Cheesy, but .....

I haven't decided where to put my red lion yet -- it depends on where I can follow it with the little red track outlines I ordered (supposed to be 2" in size). I'll only add the VIR outline for now but I ordered a Summit Point as well since I hope to go there for an event soon.

I put mine on the corner of the rear side windows. I got the gold color and they look pretty good with the blue. I will post a photo this evening.

I thought getting some decals made with "VIR 7/21/08" and placing them underneath the lion.

I think that's where mine will go as well, at the lower front corner of the rear side windows, with the tracks following in order along the bottom of the window.

I like that idea! Maybe below my VIR track sticker.....and I know a guy who's ready to make me some decals as soon as I send him a design.....hmmm.....

Brian, I think I'm going to follow your example. The pics are very cool. BTW, I apologize for forgetting anybody when I was thanking all of you for the fun day we had. I had just arrived and was exhausted from the day and the drive back home. I did not mean to leave anybody out of the list, specially Brian who is always there.

Thanks for the bulletin, Tom!

That was great seeing photos of my MINI on the track. If I have this correct, we can order a CD with all our personal photos for a reasonable $45, right?

Also, wasn't there another photography company out there as well? Does anyone know of their info?

Yes, his website is:

www.photoadventureswithed.com

Our photos are up yet, though. He did say it would be about a week before he was able to upload them.

I sure am glad I travel with a younger crowd that can remember this stuff.

Wasn't this the guy that also did the group photo? Would like to see that one.

He has a few photos up from an earlier Phil Wicks event in his gallery section in case you want to check out some of his work (including the group photo from that day). Looks pretty good to me.

Our photos are up!

The photos from Ed Dean are up! (Ed is the official photog that Phil Wicks brought and did the group photos)

http://www.photoadventureswithed.com...4846EB0DA.html

There's a note saying he might have a good shot of you, so email your car details to him at bikeourplanet@yahoo.com. I get the impression not all the shots are up on the website.

I don't have any idea on pricing yet.

I"m hoping my CD from the other photographer comes in today. They said it'd be about 5 business days.

I'm ready for more! Anyone else?

I hope he has additional shots...since I didn't see my MINI in any of the ones he loaded up in his gallery. Well, I'm waaaaayyyyy back there in the group photos, but that's it.
